Jesus Festival in Tak (Thailand). Day 1
Jesus Festival in Tak is the third event organized by Christ for All Cities Ministries in Thailand in the framework of the EveryONE Thailand Program under the support from the Global Evangelist Alliance (GEA). EveryONE Thailand is committed to reach each province of Thailand with the Gospel and the Good News about Jesus Christ. After three nights in Mae Sot located about 90 km to the west from Tak, Pastor Henry Madava and the Christ for All Cities Ministries team arrived to Tak. Tak is the capital of the Tak Province that lies in Northern Thailand. In Thai, Tak means “high” or “elevated”, as it is located in the mountain region. In Ukrainian, Tak literally means “yes”—and Jesus Festival in Tak means “Yes to Jesus Christ!”
Miracle Night in Tak, as Thai people call Jesus Festival, is taking place on the football field located on the territory of town’s school. Many students of that school had an opportunity to visit the Jesus Festival. The first day of the event started from the preparations of the field: stage, sound equipment, generators, lights, chairs for people, tents, etc. All the people coming to the event had to register themselves and get a free ticket to enter the field.
The program started with greetings from the high officials and distinguished guests invited to the event. The artist performances and the personal testimony of a known Thai youtuber attracted the attention of the attendees. Then worship to the Lord followed. After a short introduction, Pastor Henry started his preaching. He preached about Jesus who is the door to everything God has for each person.
I am the door. If anyone enters by Me, he will be saved, and will go in and out and find pasture. The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly. (John 10:9–10)
Person’s life depends on the choices he or she makes. To believe and trust in Jesus is a key to unlock the door and to make the right choice. He sets people free from oppression! Jesus brings freedom! Choosing Jesus means choosing repentance. More than a half of attendees responded to Pastor Henry’s call and chose Jesus as their Lord and Savior!
Then Pastor Henry prayed for the sick. God moved in a powerful way in Tak and performed many miracles. It was a night when many backs and knees were healed! Other miracles happened as well.
► A lady had a bent back because of pain for one year. God straightened her during the Miracle Night!
► Another lady was suffering from pain in her stomach for 20 years. She was relieved during the prayer!
► A man injured his back and had pain there. The pain just disappeared at once during the prayer!
► A lady was suffering from piercing pain in her chest for two months. The pain disappeared during the prayer!
► Another lady had weak knees. She could not stand properly. God healed her! Her back got healed as well!
► A lady had a deaf ear for 20 years. She started to hear with that ear, although she didn’t speak Thai and couldn’t understand preaching!
► Another lady used a walker because she had spinal nerve problems. She could walk without that thing after the prayer! She was full of the Holy Spirit and was speaking tongs!
► A man had a weak arm and could not raise it. He could raise it after the prayer!
► A woman had a back pain and could not walk freely for three years. She was on injections. She also had knee problems. God healed her!
► A lady had pain in her stomach for 25 years every time it became cold. God touched her, and she did not feel pain any more!
► Another lady was almost blind for 20 years and could see only some lights. Jesus opened her eyes! She started to see more clearly!
► A woman was feeling extreme pain in her waist and right leg for 10 years. The pain has gone!
► A lady had a left knee pain for one and a half years. There is no pain any more!
► Another lady had rheumatoid arthritis in her knees for 10 years. The pain disappeared during the prayer!
► A lady used a cane to walk for 10 years because of pain in her knees. Jesus healed her!
Praise God for all the miracles He performed in Tak! There is nothing impossible with God!
