Jesus Festival in Mae Sot (Thailand). Day 3
The third day of the Jesus Festival in Mae Sot was on Sunday. In the morning, Pastor Henry Madava was preaching at Saman Samakki Church. At the same time, ministers from Pastor Henry’s team were ministering in four other churches located in Mae Sot or nearby. Pastor Henry’s message was to show that everyone is important for God. God is ready to help every person and every church! Then Pastor Henry prayed for fruit in the church. God was touching people with His presence! In culmination of the service, Pastor Henry made a proclamation on the city of Mae Sot and the entire Tak province to bear great fruit in the Lord!
In the evening, it was a Burmese night at the Jesus Festival. On the previous two days, Pastor Henry Madava’s preaching was interpreted into Thai. On the third night, Pastor Henry was preaching in English with interpretation into Burmese. There are many Burmese refugees in Mae Sot who came from the nearby Myanmar. The last day of the Jesus Festival in this city had a focus on these people.
Burmese had begun to invade the grounds several hours before the program started. By the beginning of the main part of the event, there had been no empty space in the grounds! People were coming and coming! Many of them came to the grounds by buses, trucks, vans, and pickups rented by Christ for All Cities Ministries. There were so many people that some of them had to stand outside the main area, as there were no empty seats for them.
Before coming to preach, Pastor Henry prayed for the seriously ill people, as he had done in the previous days. He was preaching about Jesus who restores the whole man—in every way of person’s life. Pastor Henry told people a story from the Gospel of Luke about 10 men who were lepers. They met Jesus, and Jesus cleansed them all!
God loves everyone! Jesus is setting people free! God is always ready to save! His words are alive! God is able to rescue those who come to Him! There is nothing impossible with God! Jesus Christ is a solution to any problem!
This was the night of celebration in Mae Sot, as almost 1,700 people gave their lives to Jesus! After the altar call, Pastor Henry prayed for the sick. God moved in a powerful way and touched many people! Many of them were healed!
► A lady was suffering from pain in her body for five years because of multiple diseases. She got healed!
► A man was paralyzed for four years and had to use a walker to hold himself. He could stand on his own after the prayer!
► A lady was suffering from blindness in her left eye because of injury done by a bamboo stick two years ago. She could see with that eye after the prayer!
► Another lady had pain in her legs, and she could not sit down and could not sleep because of the pain. The lady came to the stage wiping of joy because Jesus had touched her! She can sit down freely now!
► A man had a motorcycle accident two years ago. He had his shoulder and hand injured. He was healed during the prayer and can raise his hand now! His legs and five ribs were broken because of that accident, and he could not sit down. He can do it freely now! Broken legs were healed!
► A lady had pain in her entire body for two years. Doctors could not help her. She felt fire during the prayer, and the pain left her!
► Another lady was suffering from pain in her back and her knees for four years. She could not sleep because of the pain. She was completely relieved during the prayer!
► A woman was suffering from noise in her ears: for nine years on her left side and for two years on her right side. She could not sleep because of the noise. There is no more noise in her ears any longer!
► A lady had asthma for one and a half years. She could not breathe freely. She has an easy breath now!
► Another lady could not walk for eight years. She was carried to the grounds and was sitting in the sector for seriously ill people. God healed her completely! She will come back home walking!
► A man felt from a car five months ago. He broke his back and damaged his knees. All his muscles were painful. He could not sit. He was completely healed at the Miracle Night!
Praise God for all these miraculous healings! Praise God for the Jesus Festival in Mae Sot! This city will never be the same! This will be the city of revival!
On the next day after the Jesus Festival, Pastor Henry and his team had a concluding meeting with the local organizing committee. Pastors and Christian leaders of the city came together to discuss the outcome of the Jesus Festival and share their impressions. The atmosphere was festive and friendly. Pastor Henry and the Christ for All Cities team thanked the organizing committee and volunteers for their hard work and presented small gifts to everyone. At the same time, pastors of Mae Sot thanked Pastor Henry and his team. Jesus Festival in Mae Sot has been a success owing to the joint work of everyone. Praise Lord Jesus!
