Jesus Festival in Mae Sot (Thailand). Day 2
The second day of the Jesus Festival (Miracle Night) in Mae Sot was special—as Jesus Christ is always special! Jesus came from heaven to earth. He died for our sins and raised from the dead! Jesus loves people—and He loves those of them who live in Mae Sot and the surrounding province! This was the night of joy when Jesus continued to make miracles among people! Thais, Burmese, and local tribe people could hear the Good News about Jesus Christ—who is the Savior and the Healer.
Pastor Henry Madava was preaching about God who forgives sins and heals. He read a story from the Gospel of Mark about a paralyzed man who was bound to his bed. Four other men brought him to Jesus. They had to make a way through the roof of the house where Jesus was ministering, as there was no way for them to come in because of the crowd. Seeing their faith, Jesus spoke to the paralyzed man that his sins had been forgiven to him. Then Jesus commanded him to arise, take up his bed, and walk! The man rose, immediately picked up his bed, and went out of the house! It is the way Jesus heals!
Jesus is as powerful in the 21st century as He was in the time of His ministry recorded in the Bible! He is still touching people by His Spirit and doing miracles! For Him it is just as easy to heal as to forgive!
Before praying for the sick, Pastor Henry invited people to accept Jesus. They responded to the call with pure faith! As in the previous day, nearly half a thousand people accepted Jesus in their hearts! Then it was time for miracles! God confirmed Pastor Henry’s preaching! Miracles started to happen while Pastor Henry was preaching, and more miracles happened while he was praying for the sick.
► A man had low blood pressure and was very weak. He had been relieved even before the prayer started.
► Another man had paralysis in the right side of his body. He felt somebody’s hand touched him during the prayer, although there had been nobody around, and he got healed. He was still feeling the touch of that hand when he came to testify about his healing!
► A gentleman had shingles all around his waist. It was very painful. He was sitting in the sector for seriously ill people, and Pastor Henry prayed for him before going to preach. Then, during the general prayer, gentleman’s shingles disappeared and there was no spot of them on his body! He came to testify about this miracle!
► A lady struggled of heart beats for nine years. She felt peace during the prayer, and her heart beats normalized!
► A girl had headache for one year. She received Jesus, and her pain was gone! She was saved and healed during the Miracle Night!
► A man had severe pain in his knees for nine years. He could bend them over for first time over those nine years! He was healed despite the fact he didn’t speak Thai and could not understand preaching at all!
► A girl had swelling in her left arm because of an accident. There is no sign of swelling on her arm any more, and she can freely raise it! She was healed on the previous day of the Jesus Festival and came to testify of her healing!
► A lady was suffering from pain in her knees for two years. Her knees are not painful any more, though she did not understand preaching.
► Another lady was healed on the previous day. She had to use a cane to walk, and she can walk without it now!
► A man had pain in his stomach for five years. He feels no pain any more! This man could not understand preaching either, as he speaks a tribe language.
