Today was the first day of the Jesus Festival in Kozhikode (Calicut), India. Christ for All Cities Ministries has organized the Jesus Festival in India with Pastor Henry Madava for the fourth time.
A lot of work was required for such an event. Due to the respectful attitude of the local authorities towards the Festival, the city beach was allocated for preparation a few days earlier. Volunteer teams from 25 churches came together for the sake of revival in their city and state. People from the nearest provinces were brought by buses specifically to the Jesus Festival. An Indian Christian TV channel organized the broadcast of the Festival. The meeting was opened by a local Indian worship group, then there were words of welcome from city pastors.
Pastor Henry Madava, the President of Christ for All Cities Ministries, came on the stage with the Good News. He was greeted by local ministers with a friendly bouquet in a national style. As the event took place on the beach, Pastor Henry drew an analogy with the story of Jesus who was crossing the Sea of Galilee with his disciples in a boat. When the storm began, Jesus was asleep and the disciples were greatly agitated. Waking up, Jesus rebuked the wind and the storm. Pastor Henry urged everyone to forbid storms to influence families, work, health, and business.
Then Pastor Henry invited people to pray the prayer of repentance and blessing. Many people accepted Jesus as their Savior on this day! Each of them was given a free gift—Pastor Henry’s book “Saved! Let’s Lay the Foundation” translated into Malayalam. After a short break for worship, Pastor Henry prayed for healing and deliverance, urging people to forbid the storm of illness in their lives. Our Heavenly Father answered the prayer and healed many of them, some of them were even healed while pastor was preaching.
A man could not work because of back pain for 20 years. His hands began to shake during the prayer, and he was completely healed.
An elderly woman could not bend her leg because of injury for 15 years, and she has completely been healed today.
Another woman had a heart condition for 23 years, she also could not see with her right eye. She received healing during the prayer.
A man had been paralyzed on his right side for 11 years and could not walk; the right side of his body began to fully function after the prayer.
A woman had a pain in her neck and joints, and after the prayer of repentance the pain has completely gone.
A woman had been suffering from a growth on her breast for one year. It disappeared during the prayer!
A woman had had a stomach pain for over five years. The pain has gone during the prayer!
A young man had had a weakness in all his muscles since birth. He has received healing during the prayer, and he feels himself healthy and strong now!
A man had been partially paralyzed. After the prayer, he could walk freely and even jump!
An evangelist from a local church was healed from back pain!
