The final day of the Festival began with the service of Pastor Henry Madava in one of the local churches. The title of his sermon was “Defeat your giant.” Pastor Henry cited two examples from the Bible. The first one was about the spies who were frightened by the giants in the promised land. The second one was about David, who was not afraid of Goliath and defeated him. With God we are called to defeat our Goliath.
By the evening service, the city beach had already been filled with people, and there were even more people than in the previous two days. Moreover, since today was a rest day, a lot of people passed by the territory of the Festival and stopped to hear a life-changing message. Meanwhile, one of the political parties was holding a meeting near the venue of the Festival. When they finished, a huge part of people came from that place to the Jesus Festival.
Stepping onto the stage, Pastor Henry presented the organizing committee. He asked each pastor to introduce himself and tell people about his church and how it can be found. Then he began to preach. His main emphasis was that we could touch Jesus. The woman who suffered from bleeding just touched Jesus and was immediately healed. Pastor Henry encouraged people to touch Jesus with their problems because He wants to solve them.
Next Pastor Henry called everyone to the prayer of repentance. Indeed, no Jesus Festival is finished without the salvation of people. Pastor Henry prayed a blessing prayer for new believers. Then he began to pray for the healing of the sick. A great Glory of God descended on the whole field, and it could be felt physically. Pastors laid hands on people, prayed for casting out of unclean spirits and healing.
A man had been suffering from poliomyelitis for more than 63 years. God touched him during the prayer, the pain left him, and he received healing!
A woman had been suffering from a headache. While she was praying, she felt a touch from God, and the pain has gone!
One man, 65 years old, had had pain in his right knee for the last 25 years, he could not squat and felt discomfort while moving. The pain went away during the prayer.
Another man had heart problems because he had two veins blocked. As a result, he could not breathe well. The pain left his heart after the prayer, and the man can breathe freely now.
A woman had pain in a nerve of her left eye and she could not see well. She also felt pain in her entire body. The pain has gone during the prayer!
The left side of a young man’s body had been paralyzed for the last three years. He could not move neither his hand nor his foot. The functionality of the left side of his body is restored now!
A man fell from a roof a year ago and damaged a bone in his right hand. He could not raise his hand because of that, there was a severe pain. The pain has gone during the prayer, and he can raise his hands now!
A young lady had epilepsy. She felt electricity in her body during the prayer and felt herself better, and she received freedom and healing! Thank God for everything!
At the end of the service, the Ukrainian team prayed for all who wished to be prayed over and for the Indian team.
We thank everyone who made an effort to bring the Jesus Festival to Calicut (Kozhikode). This city will never be the same! We are thankful to each partner. Thanks to your prayers and finances, many people accepted Jesus as their Savior during the Festival! This is a very valuable contribution to the expansion of the Kingdom of God!
