Jesus Festival in Ivano-Frankivsk. Day 1

Today was the first day of the Jesus Festival in Ivano-Frankivsk

This event was organized by Christ for All Cities Ministries whose President is Pastor Henry Madava. Jesus Festival was held in the I. Franko National Academic Drama Theater located at the very downtown of Ivano-Frankivsk.

Preparations for the Jesus Festival had started beforehand. The team of Christ for All Cities Ministries had been preaching on the streets each day for the last two weeks and invited people to come to the Jesus Festival. Along with posters all over the city, the advertisement about the Jesus Festival was placed at the front of the theater, in newspapers, and on the television. Ivano-Frankivsk was filled with news about the Jesus Festival.

The day the Jesus Festival began the drama theater was like an anthill because the team of Christ for All Cities Ministries coordinated their efforts well to prepare the theater hall for the evening program. They installed sound and light equipment as well as TV equipment for video shooting and for live streaming of the Festival through the Internet. As soon as preparations had been concluded, people began to enter the hall. It was getting full as more and more people were coming to the Festival.

The Jesus Festival began with driving Ukrainian songs, when singers and all who were present praised Jesus for what He has done for every person, as He gave His life for the redemption of sins of the whole humanity. Then a video about Christ for All Cities Ministries and Jesus Festivals was presented. A pastor from the town of Kalush located in the Ivano-Frankivsk region shared his testimony about miraculous healing from cancer. Finally, Pastor Henry Madava was invited to the platform after several melodious songs.

He preached about the love of our Heavenly Father to every person. By the example of the story described in Mark 9:17–27, Pastor Henry explained that the Lord loves to save people from their pits of problems and sin. There is nothing impossible with God! Jesus died and rose again so that everyone who believes in Him could have life and salvation. Upon that Pastor Henry made an altar call for people to reconcile with God by saying a prayer of repentance. Many people responded to Pastor Henry’s call, they came forward and invited Jesus to come into their hearts. Every person who accepted Jesus as his Lord and Savior also received a free gift—the New Testament and Pastor Henry’s book called “Saved! Let’s lay the Foundation.”

Thereafter the prayer for healing followed. Pastor Henry prayed from the platform and people were receiving their miracles when they lifted their hands up toward God. Many people received their healings!

One man had a paralysis of the right side of his body. After the prayer he felt himself better. He could lift his right hand up and bend his leg; the feelings in his body were restored.

One woman had a sciatic nerve pain. She felt a heat during the prayer, and the pain has gone.

An elderly lady had a liver cancer, and she felt a constant pain. The pain has gone during the prayer.

Another elderly woman had had a spinal disc herniation for 19 years. She also had a diabetes mellitus, kidney stones, and excessive cholesterol. For these reasons she always felt sick and had to pull her leg. It was difficult for her to walk and to lay down because of the pain in her leg. She felt better during the prayer, and the pain in her leg has gone. Now she is able to dance!

A woman had a cervical cancer, and she had her female organs cut out of her body. She had pain all the time after the surgery, and she felt sick. She started to feel better during the prayer, and the pain has completely gone.

A lady had a strong pain in her knees. She felt better after the prayer, and she could get up stairs to the platform by herself.

Praise be to our Lord Jesus Christ for all these miracles and testimonies! Jesus Festival will continue on the next day!

We are grateful to all the partners of Christ for All Cities Ministries for your prayers and financial support! May God abundantly bless all of you!
