The Jesus Festival in Cairo (Egypt) is near to start!
The Christ for All Cities Ministries holds the Jesus Festival in this city and this Arab country for the first time. It will be the first time for the Jesus Festival to take place in the Middle East! Cairo is the capital city of Egypt with population of over 20 million people. The city's metropolitan area is the largest in the Middle East.
The preparations for the Jesus Festival have lasted for several months, and they are close to completion. Many Christian churches of Cairo have united their efforts to make this event happen. The Jesus Festival will take place outdoor in one of the regions of the city. The lonely sandy grounds have been transformed into a cozy decorated area with the stage, chairs, and carpets that were put on top of the sand. In a very short span of time, these chairs will be occupied by the people who will come to hear the Good News about Jesus Christ.
Pastor Henry Madava, the president of the Christ to All Cities Ministries, and the team that arrived to Cairo together with him had an opportunity to meet with those pastors from Cairo who have been working hard to make the Jesus Festival happen in this city. They discussed the major points regarding the forthcoming event and have agreed on the general plan for the next three days of the Jesus Festival. The meeting was closed with a fervent prayer.
We would like to thank all the partners of the Christ for All Cities Ministries for their prayers and financial support! It is a big blessing to have such faithful partners! You are invited to join the online streaming of the event on our website this Thursday starting from 7:30 pm Kyiv Time (UTC +3h).
