Preparations for Jesus Festival

Preparations to the Jesus Festival in Kozhikode (Calicut), India, are in full swing!

India is a country with a population of over one billion people, who need the Good News about Jesus Christ. For this reason, the Christ for All Cities Ministries is holding the Jesus Festival in India for the fourth time. This time the choice fell upon the city of Kozhikode (or Calicut) in Kerala, which is located on the coast of the Arabian Sea. There are a number of Christian churches in this city (2.5% of the city’s population are Christians), but events of the scale of the Festival of Jesus have never been held before in this city.

Posters and billboards that advertise the Jesus Festival were placed all over the city and surrounding areas. They call people to attend the blessing and miracle meetings with the participation of pastor Henry Madava—the President of the Christ for All Cities Ministries. Videos on local television, announcements on the radio, articles with invitation in the newspaper, flyers and advertisement on mobile vans—all this was done with the aim that as many people as possible come to the Festival.

The main feature of this Festival is the venue—the central city beach. Jesus Festivals have never before been held on the beach. A lot of people gather on the beach in this city every night, and they will be able to hear God's Word. We expect to see a large number of healings at the Festival services and the mass repentance of people.

Today was the preparatory day of the Festival. The Indian and Ukrainian teams discussed the plan of joint actions and details pertaining to the Festival. The installation of the stage, sound, and light was in full swing on the city beach. The meeting ended with a joint prayer.

Pastor Henry Madava expresses deep gratitude to each partner of the Christ for All Cities Ministries because it is thanks to your participation that such large-scale events become possible. God does not pass by the sacrificial hearts! Dear partners, may God richly bless each of you and your families!
